Genesis (30’s - 40’s)

Young married couples in their 30’s and 40’s.  We use God’s Word to apply a Christian World View to the daily issues that face young married couples.  We put special emphasis on marriage and parenting.

Heart 2 Heart (40’s - 60’s)

Christians In Action (40’s-50’s)

For couples and individuals in their 40’s and 50’s. They love to have a great time while diving into The Word of God. Our goal is to show & share the love of God to every individual who walks throught the doors.

Hope & Joy (40’s-60’s)

Hope and Joy is a class comprised of couples and individuals ranging in age from 40’s to 60’s.  The class is taught by Dr. Steven Turner.  Lessons each week are Scripture based and centered with a focus on strengthening your walk with God, your worship of God and your witness for God.  The class has a schedule of fellowship events designed to foster and grow friendship among members.

Legacy Builders (60’s+)

The Legacy Builders class is an active and dynamic group of families in their 60’s and up. They are taught by our Pastor Emeritus, Stan Berrong. This class is dedicated and focused to interactively strengthen your spiritual and family relationships according to the Word of God. The class meets on Sunday mornings  in the Connections Center. This class provides a lot of fun with social get-togethers with class luncheons, Valentine & Christmas banquet, movie & game nights and much more.  We encourage you to come and visit us.

Grace Bible (60’s+)

Rob Fox teachers our Grace Bible Life Group class. This class is geared toward people ages 60+. The class meets in the gym each Sunday and offers regular class socials like the annual Jubilee, Christmas Party, and class retreats. The welcoming and friendliness of the class makes everyone who attends feel loved and appreciated.

Promise Keepers (60’s+)

This is a great class made up of people in their 60’s and up. We are open and loving individuals caring for one another through all the joys and trials of life. We teach the Word of God from a life of experiences, and we look at how it impacts our life today. This is a class of married and single adults.

Ark Builders (60’s+)

Tom and Gale Harris lead the Ark Builders class. The Ark Builders is a class for Couples and Individuals. They cover a wide range of topics and meet in Room C104 in Hardeman Hall.  Please consider visiting the Ark Builders on your next visit to Glen Haven.

Son Catchers (Ladies)

A class for ladies of all ages who are single, divorced, widows, or who attend church on their own.  Our class began in June of 2015 and has grown to approximately 50 ladies on roll.  Our ladies are friendly and fun-loving!  We meet in Room C105 in Hardeman Hall at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays, but come early for breakfast!  Class activities include antiquing, progressive luncheons, pancake breakfasts, shopping, cookouts, Christmas gatherings, attending a Living Christmas Tree, fall weenie roasts complete with hay rides, yard sales, game nights, and a class retreat to Asheville (Biltmore Estate) and Pigeon Forge. Class projects include gathering school supplies for children in Honduras, Christmas presents for a needy family and for shut-in ladies in our church, snack baskets for families of hospice patients, and the Pregnancy Care Center’s July Baby Shower.  We also sponsor the church’s library.  Our Bible study focuses on relevant topics for ladies in today’s world.  We have finished units in discovering who we are in Christ, His purpose for our lives, and how He has gifted us to accomplish that purpose; how to be successful God’s way; how to develop a consistent prayer life, including becoming aware of roadblocks that hinder our prayer life and prevent us from leading Godly lives; life applications of the Names of God, Fruit of the Spirit, and the life of Joseph.  Come join us as we study God’s word and reflect His light to those around us.
